White Chocolate Rice Crispy Cakes

White Chocolate Rice Crispy Cakes

White Chocolate Rice Crispy Cakes

Here's a quick and easy recipe for some White Chocolate Rice Crispy Cakes.

Items needed:

  • a bowl
  • a wooden spoon
  • paper cases or candy cups
  • white chocolate
  • rice crispys

  1. Melt the chocolate in the bowl - you can microwave it (in 30 second intervals) or over a double boiler.
  2. Add the rice cripsys, and mix well until thoroughly covered.
  3. Spoon into the paper cases
  4. Let them cool and serve.

ENJOY!

Thanks Amy!

I always enjoy quick candy recipes like this one. I prefer milk and dark chocolate, but this can easily be made either way.

You could even add some raisins or sultanas to the mixture for an added dimension of flavor and texture. Mmmm.

Hope you submit more recipes in future!
Angie

I find your rice crispy cake recipe interesting, but you have no measurements of how much white chocolate and how many rice crispies. Please ????

Which Chocolate Rice Crispies
by: Angie

Good question, WaWa. Not sure if Amy is still following this, but if she is perhaps she'll tell us the amounts she uses.

You could experiment a little by trying about 6 cups of rice crispies and one package of white chooclate chips and see how it goes. If you have too much of one or the other for good "coverage" you can adjust by adding a little more of the lacking ingredient (be sure to have more on hand). :)

I actually prefer the marshmallow rice crispy treats. They are absolutely addictive, but you could use one of those standard rice crispy treat recipes and just add the white chocolate for a different dimension.

Let us know how yours turn out and what you felt was the right amounts/proportions.
