What is white candy wafer?

by Louise
(England)

Hi,

I'm from England and have a fudge recipe I want to make. What is white candy wafer as we don't get that here?

Hi Louise,

White candy wafers are usually white chocolate type wafers. They are not always technically white chocolate - quite often they are made with mostly other forms of vegetable fats rather than cocoa butter.

If you are making fudge, I'd personally prefer to use white chocolate chips or chop up white chocolate bars, but if a recipe is calling for white candy wafers, it will probably still be really yummy.

If you can't find any white chocolate wafers in the UK, I'm sure you can have some sent from Candyland Crafts.

Tell us how the fudge turns out!
