He isn't her daddy but he loves her like he is.....And she feels the same!


What to do when you need emergency Valentine gift ideas for him???


I had a present all wrapped for my Fiance, and my 2 year old daughter asked me what it was. I told her, "It's a present for daddy because mummy loves daddy very much and Valentines Day is a special day where people who love each other do nice things for each other!"


She then replied, "But I love daddy, too," which prompted a early trip back to the shops this morning on the hunt for something nice for daddy from DD.


Upon arriving at the shops there wasn't much left to offer so chocolates was the go.


The lesson I learnt this morning is that every year now I am going to include her in the Valentines Day celebrations and try to somehow incorporate a part of her because I feel terrible that we had to resort to the stock standard box of choccies like I had forgotten!


Who me forget........... NEVER.


He doesn't arrive home from work till 5pm after a 5am start so let's hope he is surprised with our surprises!

Hey, don't knock the standard gift of 'choccies' as we really love them around here! LOL


I'm sure if you'd had more time you could have been more inventive, but chocolate is always a great Valentine gift idea for him or her of any age!


Maybe one year you may want to consider helping your daughter create a really clever chocolate candy bar card. That would let him know you definitely did not forget, and I'm sure your daughter would have a lot of fun helping to decorate it.


Well, I hope your fiance really enjoyed his gifts, both of them, and that your Valentines Day was one to remember this year!
