Valentine's Day Scrapbook Card and Chocolates

by Susan

My scrapbook card Valentine

My scrapbook card Valentine

Great competition, Angie!

I made my husband a humorous scrapbook card that I could later incorporate into an album for him one year.

I found a funny photo - he was pretending to be master of all he surveyed at a museum about Captain Cook (tee hee!) and then I made up a little poem to go with it. I found a key to place on the card as well and tied that in to how I felt about him. I layered patterned paper and plain cardstock in colours that matched the mood of the photo.

Then I found him a box of his favourite chocolates and wrapped them in purple cellophane and adhered the card layout to the gift.

He liked it a lot and still chuckles about it!

Adorable Valentine card, Susan. You always come up with such great homemade card and scrapbooking ideas. Your Papercraft Central site is full of clever ideas that can be used for all different occasions.

Thanks for sharing this particular Valentine card idea with us.

~Angie
