Valentine Gifts For Husbands - An adorable Valentine Cake Shaped Like a Teddy Bear. Valentine Teddy CakeI made this special Valentine cake for my Husband who loves cake and teddies. I bake 3 chocolate cakes by 6 inch for the body and 3 by 4 inch for the head. Stack the cakes and carve them in the shape of the tummy, head, and legs. For the hands to be lite I used rice krispie treats. Between layers I use chocolate ganache for the filling. After I put it all together I cover all in a thin layer of butter cream and after for the fuzzy look I use royal icing. For the board I use a cardboard from a box cut in the shape of the heart and cover with red tissue paper and saran wrap for the protection. Livia, Your Valentine cake is absolutely adorable! You did an excellent job with it. I don't think it could possibly look more professional. :) It's an inspiration for the rest of us who are trying to come up with ideas for good Valentine gifts for husbands. Of course, a cake like this could be used for birthdays or other special occasions, too, and for kids of all ages. I sure hope you'll show off more of your creative ideas here on the site.
