I am making a handmade padded cloth valentine, with lace edging for my husband with a poem embroidered on it.

Oh, Astra, that sounds really lovely. I do a bit of cross stitching, so I know this type of Valentine craft idea takes some time and effort.


Is it going to be a pillow or more like a cloth card or wall hanging? Can you take a photo and show us the finished project? I'd love to see it.


These homemade valentine gifts are so nice because they show your love and last so much longer than a box of chocolates or a dozen roses.


Of course, I always love a box of chocolates, too! :)
