Using Chocolate from Chocolate Fountain

by Katrina Leiding

Can you use chocolate that has been mixed with oil for a chocolate fountain to make other chocolate candies?

I have left over chocolate from a party chocolate fountain. How do I make it set up more solid or what kind of candy can I make with it?

Thanks,
Katrina

Hi Katrina,

I'm guessing it depends on how much oil has been added to your fondue chocolate. Try putting it in the fridge to see if it sets.

You could probably make fudge with it if all else fails and you don't want to use it again for fondue.

It could be as simple as stirring in some powdered sugar to thicken it up, but there are some other tips left for someone else who said, "I can't get my fudge to thicken."
