Thanks for your Easter Comments!

Many thanks for your Easter comments & your story on how you came about your site. Today, you cannot imagine, how much joy you have brought to my day knowing that the Lord has done so much for me and my family. I don't think I stumbled upon you by accident.
God is good...all the time. My blessings to you and yours as you continue your ministry for the Lord.
As for me, I'm a church secretary looking for a way to supplement my income and stumbled across your site looking for ways in which I could use "chocolate" as a means to supplement our family income.
I live just outside of Hershey, PA (a/k/a Chocolatetown, USA). As you can imagine, everything chocolate runs freely here. (Even the street lights are shaped like Kisses).
However, times are tough here as many of the jobs are now being sent to Mexico and there are many who are now facing unemployment. Friends of mine who have worked for the company for over 30 years are now faced without a job.
For me, I am in need of additional income to free myself up from some financial bondage and am choosing to use chocolate as something I know about and something that is readily available. My hope is that the Lord will open a new door for me to use chocolate as a ministry tool to others as well.
Well, again, I'd like to wish you and your family a WONDERFUL Easter Resurrection! Thanks for your hard-work & dedication to the site. I look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Hi Anita,
Thank you so much for your lovely letter and good wishes for the celebration of Our Savior's death, burial, and resurrection. We are Wonderfully Blessed regardless of the difficult financial times we are living in!
So I have to say "thanks for your Easter comments," too! :-)
I've actually been to Hershey and taken the tour (probably about 13-15 years ago). Don and I were on deputation to raise our support to come to Australia as missionaries.
We visited a church in Hummelstown, PA. I
believe it was Grace and Truth Bible Church. Do you know it? Anyway, some of the people from the church took us to the Hershey factory and I really enjoyed it, of course. :)
I'm sorry to hear that so many people are losing their jobs and struggling. It's terribly sad, and quite often unnecessary. The greed of some hurts many.
Do you have any idea how you want to build your business around chocolate? Are you interested in building a site like mine? Do you want to make your own chocolates and sell them? Are you more interested in promoting "healthy" chocolate?
These are all options to consider. I know their are some network marketing companies out there that are based around healthy chocolate. One of them I considered was Xocai. I didn't end up going that route because I didn't want to have the commitment of monthly product purchases (as you generally do in MLM type businesses).
If you just want to sell homemade chocolates without building a website, I may be able to help in that area by offering them here on my site for sale.
Another option is to start a chocolate party favor business. You can get the program to make the custom wrappers at
Custom Candy Wrappers and also at
The Dapper Wrapper.
Each of those offer different styles and options, but the price is reasonable.
Long term, your best option is going to be to build a website of your own, whether it is similar to this one or a completely different angle. If you want to go that route, I can't recommend anything higher than
SiteBuildIt in order to ensure you do it right and achieve success.
As you read already, I had no prior experience at web building or online marketing. SBI taught me step by step how to do what needed to be done. It's been a big blessing to me.
Once again, thanks for your Easter comments, and thanks for stopping by my site. I truly hope the Lord uses something here to help you ease your financial burden.
Blessings,
Angie
