Strawberry Fudge Truffles
Light And Fruity
Decadent Delights

Mouthwatering strawberry fudge truffles are an exceptional choice for your sweetheart on Valentine's Day, or any other day of the year.

These bite sized morsels are so yummy, I could be guilty of eating the whole batch myself!

If you prefer, you can order luxury truffles online and have them shipped directly to your special someone. Have a look at zChocolat.com. They have an scrumptious collection. I know that I would feel like a queen to receive a package from them. They are absolutely divine!

Of course you can't forget the old standby favorites at Fannie May Candies.

Whether you decide to order online or make your own, you can't get a much better treat than Chocolate Truffles!

Strawberry & Fudge Truffle Recipe

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 6-oz. pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/4 cup strawberry preserves
  • 1/2 cup almonds, toasted and chopped

  1. Beat cream cheese until light and creamy.

  2. Melt the chocolate over low heat stirring constantly. You could also use the microwave by stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

  3. Combine the melted chocolate with the cream cheese and beat until smooth. Add vanilla wafer crumbs and strawberry preserves. Stir well.

  4. Cover mixture and chill for about 1 hour. Shape into balls and roll in chopped almonds.

  5. Store strawberry fudge truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Mmmmmm. Do you think they will last that long?

These tasty treats can be presented on a candy dish or in a small gift box with a bit of tissue paper for Valentine's Day. You can even purchase specially designed chocolate candy boxes or cellophane favor bags at Candyland Crafts that will make your presentation a snap. Use your imagination and you will do great. Have fun!
