Storing Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Storing Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Question:

I wanted to know what the best way to store chocolate covered pretzels was. And how long they would stay fresh stored the way you suggest.

Answer:

I prefer to store chocolate covered pretzels in a tin or jar. You can also use any type of airtight container. Just be sure that the container doesn't have any smells because the chocolate will absorb the smell - not nice.

How long will they keep? It depends on whether the pretzel is completely covered in chocolate or only partially covered in chocolate.

It's been my experience that the pretzel stays fresher longer when it is fully enrobed in chocolate. If the temperature is average with no great extremes (not too hot or cold), completely covered chocolate covered pretzels should last several months.

If the pretzels are only partially covered in chocolate, they will still probably keep for several weeks.
