Remove Chocolate Stain

remove chocolate stainThe Assignment: Remove Chocolate Stain from your favorite fabric!

Here are a few simple tips to make the task easier for you, and essentially, my way of coming to your rescue. :)

If you are anything like me, YOU LOVE CHOCOLATE, but HATE dealing with CHOCOLATE STAINS. Well, have no fear! Your guide to removing chocolate stains is here.

If you follow these steps for chocolate removal and act as quickly as you can, you will have success.

If your little darling ends up looking like this little darling, it's not the end of the world. So, before you throw away that Butterfinger or that cute new sweater, keep reading.

How To Remove Chocolate Stains

  1. The first and most important step is to remove the bulk of the chocolate (as much as you can) from the garment. I suggest a spoon. Be gentle so that you don't ruin the fabric threads.

  2. Rinse well with cold water from the back of the stain.

  3. Using a cotton ball, apply detergent directly on the chocolate stain for 5 minutes.

  4. Soak the chocolate stained garment in cold water for 15 minutes (agitate the material every five minutes). This should help to remove the stains more easily.

  5. Rinse chocolate stained area thoroughly.

  6. Repeat the stain removal steps until you have completely removed the chocolate stains.

So, in the end, knowing how to get rid of chocolate stains has its own reward. You can indulge in chocolate to your heart's content. If you have a little "Uh Oh" moment, you know you've got everything under control.

And, after working up an appetite while cleaning, rinsing, and soaking your chocolate stain, treat yourself to a little more chocolate! Trust me, you'll be glad you did. :)
