Recipes For Chocolate Using Cocoa Powder?

by Jon

Does anyone have any good recipes for chocolate using cocoa powder?

I am on the look out for a good way to make chocolate from cocoa powder, sugar, cream, etc. like the one Sue wrote about.

"...was wondering if you had a home made recipe for making solid chocolate bars using recipe substitutes. I have a recipe that combines cocoa powder, sugar, milk, vanilla and butter..."

Any and all suggestions would be a big help.

Thanks!
Jon

Hi Jon!

You said you are looking for any chocolate recipe using cocoa powder. I've asked Sue to add the one she was referring to in her post, so we'll see if she gets back to us.

Meanwhile, there are a couple of others you can try. Here's a chocolate taffy recipe that another visitor added.

Also there are some chocolate candy recipes on the site that get their chocolate from cocoa powder.

You can also make chocolate mint fudge or super fast microwave fudge if you like.

You may also want to browse through the truffle recipes and see if you find one there that would suit your tastes.

I hope those will give you something to start with. Meanwhile, perhaps some other visitors will be generous enough to share some of their favorites with you. :-)

Have fun!
Angie
