Party Favours For My Wedding

by Kim

I am going to make my own party favours for my wedding in October, but I want to get them done early so there is less to do as the wedding gets closer.

When should I make them so they look nice and do not lose any colour?

Hi Kim,

I love the fact that you are going to make your own chocolate wedding favors. How early you can make them depends on what kind of party favors you are making.

Simple molded chocolates will last several weeks if they are in kept in a good/safe environment. By that I mean in a moderate stable temperature, away from strong smells, etc.

I don't think you really have to worry about the colors fading if you are using colored candy melts to make your wedding party favors. They should hold up fine, particularly if you keep them out of direct light.

Hope the wedding is as beautiful as you dream it to be!

~Angie

Try something new for wedding give aways

Hi Kim,

This is Gemma Valerio, Would you like to try to make my molded custard candy or pastillas candy? This is really delicious!!! and something new to your friends.I'm sure your guest will like them, just for a change. This candy last for 1 - 2 months. It doesnt not spoil nor get molds. Since wedding is a special occasion, I would suggest that you just put it in a nice packaging that is match for your wedding motif. If you want to try you may get in touch with me to my email at ladyjhem@yahoo.com. I am willing to give you the recipes and even guide you on how to make it perfect. I could give or show you some nice packaging for that. Please let me know... happy wedding!!!!

Gemma
