Making Chocolate Taffy's

by Marie
(Philadelphia, PA)

When making chocolate taffy's in a mold, I find that the white of the taffy stick sometimes shows thru the chocolate. Any suggestions on how to prevent this.

Hi Marie,

Try rolling the taffy stick in the chocolate after you insert it into the mold to completely cover the stick. This may help improve the look of the finished candy and also secure the stick more firmly.

Hope that helps!
Angie

Chocolate Taffy?
by: Madalena

Marie,
Chocolate taffy sounds good, but I've never made it. Do you mind sharing your recipe, and maybe a few pictures?! :)
Thanks
