Carob Fudge Recipe
by: Angie

Remembering that Carob isn't chocolate, you have to realize that you can't really make "chocolate" using carob powder.

However there are some yummy carob candy recipes you can try.

Here's another Carob recipe for making a type of Carob Fudge. Maybe this will be something you'll enjoy.

Carob Fudge

Mix together the following ingredients...

  • 2/3 cup of sifted carob powder
  • 3-4 teaspoons of warm water (add a bit more if needed at the end)
  • 1/3 cup of honey
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cups of dry milk powder (preferably nonfat)
  • 3/4 cup of sunflower seeds

Spoon into a small pan lined with plastic wrap. Cover and chill. Cut into squares to serve.

No, it's not chocolate fudge, but it makes a nice sweet treat for those of you who'd like to give carob a try.
