Jelly Bean Fudge
Surprisingly Fun And Colorful

jelly bean candyGive Jelly Bean Fudge a try for a delicious and colorful homemade easter candy recipe.

This is a quick and easy recipe that combines the two favorite traditional Easter treats - chocolate and jelly beans candy.

There are jelly beans, and then there are JELLY BEANS. If you really want to have an awesome result, use Jelly Belly beans with their incredible flavors. You can find them at the Oriental Trading Company, Inc. along with a few other brands, as well.

If you are looking at making up a huge batch for a group or organization, you may want to buy in bulk.

In that case, I would recommend you consider Candy Direct. They have a variety of brands available including Jelly Belly, Gimbals, and Starburst.

Jelly Bean Fudge Recipe

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips or pieces
  • 1 16-ounce container vanilla frosting
  • 2 cups assorted jelly beans

  1. Prepare a 9 inch square pan by lining with aluminum foil and lightly greasing the foil.

  2. Melt the white chocolate over double boiler (or in the microwave stirring every 30 seconds until smooth).

  3. Add the frosting and stir until well mixed and smooth. Remove from heat.

  4. Allow to cool slightly so you don't melt the jelly beans, then stir them through. Spread mixture into the prepared pan and cool to room temperature. Cover and chill for a couple of hours.

  5. Lift foil to remove fudge from pan. Remove foil and cut into pieces. Enjoy!

Can you believe how truly simple this is to make? I love recipes that I can just whip up at a moments notice, especially if I am running behind or have been invited somewhere unexpectedly. This will really do the trick to put the grins in place.

Suggestions: Substitute the white chocolate and frosting for milk or dark chocolate to get your favorite combination.
