How Long do Chocolate Covered Apples Last?

How Long do Chocolate Covered Apples Last?

Hi. I was going to make a bunch of chocolate covered apples for the office and was wondering how long do they last?

If I were to make the chocolate covered apples over the course of two days would they still be good for the next couple of days?

I am just going to dip some Granny Smith apples in some milk chocolate. Thank you!

Hi Sara,

Your coworkers are going to love you! :) Chocolate apples should easily last a week or more. Once they are sliced open they will, of course, need to be eaten quickly.

If you want to save a portion of a chocolate covered apple that has already been sliced, rub the exposed flesh with some lemon juice and cover it with saran wrap before refrigerating.

Come back and let us know how they turn out. If you have a photo, all the better. ;)

Have fun!
Angie
