How Long Can I Keep Molded Chocolates?

How long can I keep molded chocolates after they have been made & where should I store them?

I want to make these months in advance but need to know if they will keep. So I don't have to do them around Christmas time.
Thank you :-)

Usually molded chocolate candy can be kept for several weeks if stored in a moderate temperature.

You don't want the chocolate to get too hot or too cold or it will cause discoloration (bloom).

When you store the chocolate, don't put it near anything with a strong smell (like onions, scented candles, etc.) or the chocolate will absorb the smell.

You can place the chocolate molded candy in an airtight container and keep them in a cool, dry cupboard.

Molded candy is a lot of fun for Christmas. I hope you and your friends and family enjoy them immensely.
