For a unique and special Valentine, you can find old valentine cards at antique/collectible stores or on the internet. You can use it as a card or you could frame it as a gift. It make a great gifts because it is thoughtful and shows you took time to find something special, but it also is fairly inexpensive. There's just something romantic about old valentine cards. Beautiful and sentimental idea, Bekah! Vintage Valentines are a lovely way of incorporating some Valentine's Day traditions that are so easily forgotten. I once saw a gorgeous old Valentine on the Antiques Road Show that was, I think, about 300 years old. Some man made it for his wife and it was passed down from father to son for many generations. I thought it was a really lovely story. Who knows? Maybe someone will take your idea and start a Valentine's Day tradition of their own. ~Angie |
