Sugar Cookies with Royal Icing and Molded Bee Hives Chocolate Raspberry Cupcakes with Sugar Bees Lemon Drop Cupcakes with Candy Binky (pacifier) Molded Chocolate Baby Bottles, Baby Feet, and Booties

I made these homemade baby shower treats and favors for my sisters baby shower.

This was my first time making chocolates, but I think they came out okay.

I made chocolate baby bottles, baby feet and booties using chocolate candy molds. I also made peanut butter beehives.

In addition to the molded candies, I made sugar cookies with royal icing, cupcakes and cake pops.

The cake pops were vanilla coconut and dipped in white or dark chocolate and rolled in coconut.

I made two kinds of mini cupcakes. The chocolate raspberry ones were filled with a raspberry Chambord filling and piped to look like a beehive, sprinkled with gold dust and topped with a sugar bee (I ran out of time to make them out of fondant so I bought them at a bake store).

The lemon drop cupcakes were filled with a lemon curd and topped with a candy binky (made from life savers and jelly beans; held together with royal icing).

Hi Jenny,

What can I say? WOW! WOW! WOW! You did a great job and my mouth is simply watering. I would soooo love to taste-test your baby shower treats.

Your sister must be so thrilled and impressed with all the work and effort you put into making these homemade baby shower treats and favors for her special day. Your going to be a great Aunt! :)

You really did a good job, much better than just "okay." I hope that you really enjoyed the process and that you'll be inspired to make a lot more homemade chocolates for the upcoming holiday seasons.

I hope you'll show us what you get up to next. I may as well at least drool even if I can't taste them. :)

Blessings,
Angie
