Question:

How can I make home made milk chocklet candy, something like nestles chocolet co makes?

Hi David,

It is very difficult to make a commercial grade chocolate at home. The process is very complex from processing the cocoa beans, extracting the liquor, separating the cocoa butter, etc.

It's an interesting subject, and you can read more about chocolate history if you're interested.

To get the kind of chocolate the Nestle company and Hershey's etc. make, you'd really need some pretty high tech equipment that most of us don't have in our kitchen.

So, the next best thing is to get some chocolate that has been processed already - chips, bars, squares, whatever - and melt them for use in your own chocolate candy recipes. There are hundreds of chocolate candy recipes on this site to choose from.

Sorry to disappoint, but that's the best I can tell you.
