How To Make A Hidden Chocolate Gift
Well, I was just planning to give my gift to my best friend, who happens to be a chocoholic.
I was thinking about my gift's presentation and since people knew me as a secretive and "the girl who puts her touch on everything" type of person, I decided to make the chocolate appear "hidden".
I'll make a gift wrapper bag, inside another, and another. As for the chocolate bars, well, I was planning on wrapping it in:
1. gift wrapper
2. graphing paper
3. another paper
5. another gift wrapper, and lastly
6. a personal letter.
Although it might be wasteful on paper and money of course
I searched for unused yet presentable papers.
It would appear that after my friend opened the bag, she'll find another bag, and another. :)) it would appear as "a never ending wrapper", but hey, it could also be a trick. :D
A Hidden Chocolate Gift is an adorable idea! I think your friend will absolutely love it. :)
We've used a similar concept for children's parties and called it "pass the parcel." You wrap the 'prize' in wrapping paper, and then wrap it again and again with a variety of papers until you have several layers.
To play the game, the music starts and the children start passing the parcel. When the music stops the child holding the parcel gets to unwrap that layer. The game continues until the final layer is unwrapped and that child receives the hidden gift.
I love the spin you've put on it by using it as a creative gift idea! Thanks for taking the time to share it with us.
