Hard Milk Chocolate Candy

Hard Milk Chocolate CandyMy aunty makes this chocolate candy which is hard and can be broken into pieces. So I think this recipe will work for molds also, though I haven't tried molds myself as yet.
Ingredients needed:
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Milk Powder
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 2 Level Tablespoons Cocoa powder
- 50 grams Butter
Method To Follow:
- Sieve together the milk powder and cocoa powder and set it aside.
- Put the sugar and water in a thick bottomed pan and heat it slowly while stirring until sugar dissolves completely.
- Now bring the mixture to a boil over moderate heat. Add the butter. Do not stir once it starts boiling.
- Check the consistency of the syrup frequently. Turn off the heat once the syrup reaches two threads consistency or the soft ball stage (see candy syrup stages).
- Quickly add the milk powder-cocoa mix to the syrup and mix well so that no lumps remain.
- Pour into a greased plate. Break into pieces when cooled.
Note: Two threads consistency syrup solidifies very quickly, so make sure you complete the steps 4-6 very quickly.
