Looking for a Halloween gift that will make someone smile?
I've found some Halloween ideas to get you started. Don't be spooked;
take a look around at the options below and see if something 'jumps out at you!'
Personally, I've got mixed emotions about Halloween.
Because I am a Christian, I
really don't like to give much attention to witches or anything that
even remotely promotes witchcraft.
At the same time, I have fond memories of my childhood, going
'Trick-or-Treating,' bobbing for apples, and getting scared out of my
wits while going through haunted houses with my dad.
As we grew older, we started celebrating the holiday of Halloween a bit
differently. We started having a 'Harvest Party' instead of Halloween.
Still,
my Mom's birthday is actually October 31, so the day is never without
celebration. ;)
I don't particularly choose a Halloween themed gift for my mom. I like to look through the great variety of yummy goodies you can get on special this time of year (usually something chocolate, of course!) and splurge on an extravagance that I know she'll enjoy.
Having said that, I know many of you are looking for a present that is Halloween related, so here's a good selection...
While shopping around for the best gifts for Halloween, you are going to be tempted to get something for yourself! And why shouldn't you?
A
little bit of spoiling from time to time is a good thing. I'm convinced
of it! :) Go ahead and treat yourself.
Maybe you'd rather just make a gift for Halloween. That can be really fun for you and the kids to do together.
There are a variety of Halloween recipes to choose from that are spooky and creepy.
For something super simple, just get some chocolate and Halloween molds from Candyland Crafts and make your own themed molded chocolates, chocolate lollipops, or chocolate covered pretzels.
You'll
find fun items like brains, eyes, skull and crossbones, ghosts, bats,
pumpkins, and more. If you get some colored melts you can even paint in
the eerie details and make your chocolates extra special and
delightful.
Have a deliciously scary time!
