Halloween desserts can be fun, silly, spooky and absolutely delicious!
You can choose from a selection of halloween recipes that your family and friends will love.
We've got quite a few that should really get your fingers itching to get started.
Using some simple techniques, you can change ordinary desserts into something
that will make everyone believe you are amazingly cool and creative.
Do you have an old favorite dessert recipe that you know is always well received?
Have you ever thought about how you can make some adjustments
to make that recipe themed for the holidays?
It may be a simple matter of using some decorator icing on your trademark cookies, or buying some little plastic spiders to crawl across the top of your scrumptious chocolate cake.
Have I got you thinking yet? Here are few great Halloween dessert recipes that you can use if you don't have any of your own yet. If you DO have some of your own, please share!
This easy caramel apple recipe is from Better Homes and Gardens. It's a real tasty treat and just seems to go along with Halloween.
Do you have a favorite cupcake recipe? Turn it into these adorable cobweb cupcakes.
Even if you just use a boxed cake mix, you can create this
Halloween dessert with hardly any time and trouble at all.
You'll need:
Frosting:
Extra Fun Tip 1:
You can use the remaining chocolate to draw little spiders to place on
the web. On a piece of waxed paper squeeze a little glob for the body
and eight legs, four on each side. Let it harden and place them gently
on the cupcakes for special effects!
Extra Fun Tip 2: You can use the same recipe (or a simple box mix and canned frosting) to create these spooky eyeball cupcakes, too.
Add
a round candy for the iris and a small black jelly bean (or some dark
chocolate) for the pupil. Use some red food coloring added to the white
frosting and pipe some blood vessels to make the eyeballs look
bloodshot.
This pudding recipe is really delicious. If you've never tried it
before it's one I highly recommend. Here's a video provided by Taste of
Home (my favorite recipe magazine) to explain the details.
If you'd like to subscribe to Taste of Home or any other favorite magazine, you can get great prices at Magazines.com. They make great gifts, too.
