Freezing Ritz Cracker Candy

What about freezing Ritz cracker candy?

Can you freeze the chocolate dipped Ritz cracker candy with peanut butter for a wedding, or do they last 2 weeks at room temperature?

Hi Lynn,

If the crackers are completely covered in chocolate, they should keep okay for 2 weeks at room temperature as long as you store them in an airtight container.

Freezing Ritz cracker candy is a risky business, I'd say. I'd think they are one of those things that sometimes keep fine and other times don't.

Since these are for a wedding, I wouldn't want to take the risk that you'd fall into the wrong category. ;~)

If you do decide to freeze the candy, be sure to wrap them really well and when you thaw them, allow them to return to room temperature gradually while still covered to cut down on condensation build up.

Hope they turn out well!
