Do I have to temper milk/white chocolate for multi colored lollipops?

I'm making multi-colored real chocolate lollipops. Do I need to temper the colored-white chocolate? Do I need to temper the milk chocolate that is going to be behind it? If not, how will they come out/look? HELP!! :(

Tempered chocolate is almost always nicer looking than untempered chocolate candy, but tempering isn't always a necessity.

Much of the chocolate that you buy these days for candy making is already tempered. If you are careful when melting the white and milk chocolate, the chocolate should hold its temper and your chocolate molded lollipops will look lovely.

Just be careful not to overheat the chocolate and, if possible, allow the chocolate to set at a moderate room temperature rather than chilling it.

Take some photos of your finished lollipops and let us have a look! :)
