Dipping Candy Into Chocolate

I made some candy that I rolled and put into the refrigerator to set. Then I "dipped" them in chocolate to cover them. What a mess!!! I tried using all types of things to hold the candy ball to dip into the chocolate. Help!!! What does everyone else use (that works)? Hi Diane, I can't help but laugh as I recall my earliest attempts at making chocolate dipped candy! It IS a challenge, isn't it?! They actually make special chocolate dipping tools. You can get them at Candyland Crafts. But I've used toothpicks, skewers, and forks, depending on the type and size of items/candy being dipped. Those makeshift tools are not necessarily a perfect solution, but once you start getting the hang of it, you can get a rhythm going. Blessings, Angie |
