Chocolate Recipe

I am looking for a recipe for chocolate (the slabs). Does anybody have one I can try?

Hi Nicci,

This is a chocolate recipe that a lot of people are looking for. :) It's very difficult to make a slab of chocolate like a candy bar, without starting with some form of firm chocolate like chocolate chips, chocolate melts, or other chocolate bars.


If you have a chocolate like that to start with, all you have to do is melt the chocolate (or temper it) and pour it into your molds for the slab and let it set.


Otherwise it is very difficult for the average home candy maker to process chocolate from scratch. You need the right combination of cocoa solids, liquids, and powder as well as the sugar, etc. to come up with a similar end result.


Although several people have asked already, I still haven't found a recipe for doing that properly.


If someone else has the secret recipe everyone's looking for, please share it here. :)
