Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Recipes
A Delicious Combination

chocolate peanut butter fudgeYou will simply love these chocolate peanut butter fudge recipes if you enjoy the sweetness of chocolate and the richness of peanut butter. It is definitely a match made in heaven. :)

Preparing a chocolate peanut butter fudge recipe is a treat that I try to only indulge in at the holidays or on special occasions. The only reason is because when I get in the same house with this scrumptious treat, I lose all sense of self control.

You may be more disciplined than I am, but I thought it was only fair that I should warn you. This stuff is pretty great.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, divided
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Combine sugar, cocoa, milk, and syrup in a large heavy saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Add 2 tablespoons butter, and stir until melted; cover and boil mixture for 3 minutes.

Remove cover and continue cooking without stirring until mixture reaches soft ball stage (234 degrees). Remove from heat, and add remaining butter, peanut butter, pecans, and vanilla (do not stir).

Cool mixture 10 minutes.

Beat until well blended. Pour into a buttered 9-inch square pan. Cool and cut into squares.
