Chocolate Happy Birthday Card
by Marie R.
I am having a 50th birthday party for my son. I was thinking of making and giving to each guest a molded chocolate Happy Birthday Card. They are rather large, 6 1/4" x 3 3/4".
I am having 40 people, 14 of which are children.
Do I make 40 and everyone gets one, or one to a family since it is such a large piece of chocolate? These will serve as the party favor.
Thank you for your response. Would appreciate hearing from you as to your suggestion.
Thank you much,
Marie
Hi Marie,
I think making the molded chocolate Happy Birthday card is a really great idea. I don't really think it is going to be right or wrong, whichever you decide to do.
I'm guessing the kids would want their own party favor, but you don't really have to make them the same thing as the adults.
Perhaps you can mold some smaller chocolates for the kids - it wouldn't take much chocolate or effort to make some small ones and put a few in a little cellophane favor bag for each child.
I'm not sure if you are familiar with the
custom chocolate bars that you can buy or make, but they are very clever for party favors, too.
You are able to personalize them with your son's name, birth date, etc., even a theme. In fact, I think my sister purchased these
candy bars with personalized wrappers for my brother-in-law's 50th birthday.
I hope the party is a great celebration and fun for all whatever chocolate party favor you decide upon.
Blessings,
Angie
