Chocolate Flower Valentine

Give a chocolate flower valentine to your sweetheart this year. You'll be sure to get into someone's good books that way!

Whether you are looking for chocolate roses or another type of chocolate flower, you have a number of options. You can buy or make chocolate flowers for Valentine's Day or any occasion when you want them to feel extra special.

Wouldn't YOU enjoy getting something beautiful to look at and just as beautiful to eat? I know I would!

Here's a funny little anecdote for you...

I grew up in the United States, and we use the term "beautiful" to describe a sunset, a flower, someone's appearance or personality, or anything else that looks attractive to us.

It wasn't till my hubby and I moved to Australia to do mission work that we discovered a whole new meaning to the word beautiful.

The Aussie's often refer to food as beautiful, and they aren't talking about the way it looks! :) It seemed a bit strange to our ears the first time someone took a bite of their meal and said, "Mmmm, that's beautiful!" Now we say it all the time ourselves!

Just thought you might enjoy that little pearl from "down under." ;) So, you can well imagine why I think giving someone a chocolate flower valentine is the perfect idea. It will be beautiful in more ways than one.

It used to be quite difficult to find somewhere to buy chocolate flowers online or offline, but not anymore. In fact, I've got quite a selection for you below.

Make Your Own
Valentine's Day Chocolate Flowers

chocolate flower valentine mold

Don't worry. You don't have to spend a fortune to buy a chocolate flower valentine for your nearest and dearest. It's really quite easy to make your own Valentine chocolate flowers.

All you need are some flower shaped candy molds and, of course, some chocolate. :-)

You can find a beautiful selection of flower molds at my two favorite mold suppliers Candyland Crafts and One Stop Candle.

You can choose between simple molds for chocolate flowers or even chocolate flower lollipop molds.

These suppliers also have the chocolate, the lollipop sticks, the cellophane or foil for covering, and more. They even have colored melts in case you want something different than the usual brown and white chocolates.

Once you have everything you need, just follow the instructions for molding chocolate candy. It's a lot easier than you may think. You can even get the kids involved in making these chocolate flower Valentine treats for other family members and friends.

Have fun! I hope your Valentine's Day is extra special this year.
