Chocolate Covered Oreos With Fondant On Top

Help with making chocolate covered Oreos with fondant on top...

I am going to make chocolate covered Oreos in the Oreo molds, then I want to put BABY on the top with fondant letters.

Any tips for attaching the letters on top of the Oreo? The fondant is so fragile after it dries, it's hard to get them on straight AND without breaking them.

Hi Sue,

How about using a little melted chocolate as "glue" to attach the fondant letters on top. That should allow it to stick well enough.

Another option is to use this edible glue recipe on that page to create your own clear paste to attach the fondant to the chocolate.

Hope one of those options works for you. We'd love to see your finished chocolate covered Oreos with the baby decorations when you are finished. Take some photos and add them to the party favor page. :)

Just wanted to check in with you and find out how your chocolate covered oreos with fondant on top came out.
