What could be more fun than a
Chocolate Candy Pizza?
I would never pass up a slice!
This is a terrific idea for a teen night or any special party for kids. Candy Pizzas are easy to make but are uniquely different. You are sure to be a hit with the young people in your life if you produce this candy recipe for kids.
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Topping Options:
1 cup candy-coated milk chocolate candies (like M&M's)
1/4 cup flaked coconut
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup malted milk balls, broken in pieces
1/2 cup chopped pecans or other nuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray pizza pan with non stick cooking spray.
Combine margarine and sugar in a bowl and beat until fluffy. Mix in the egg and the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine floour, cocoa, and baking soda. Gradually add this mixture to the egg mixture.
Spread the mixture onto the pizza pan to within the 1 inch of the edge. Sprinkle the pizza with your choice of toppings - M&M's, marshmallows, nuts, coconut, malted milk balls, whatever you like.
Place in oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until edges are set. Do not overcook. Allow to cool and cut into slices or squares.
For special occasions: You can customize your pizza for a particular holiday or special event by using seasonal candies or team colors, etc. Have a blast with this great candy recipe for kids.
