Chocolate Candy Fund Raisers

Ideas, Tips, and Guidlines

I have used many chocolate candy fund raisers as an excuse to indulge in my pet vice. Who can resist a smiling child asking you to buy a delicious chocolate bar? I certainly can’t! After all, it is for a good cause. :)

Chocolate candy bar fund raisers are a wonderful way to earn money for your group!

Candy bars are easy to sell because they are relatively inexpensive and they are well known brands that people are familiar with and enjoy.

I usually associate candy bar fundraisers with school promotions. Sports teams, cheerleader squads, band groups, the science club, the computer department – you get the idea.

On the other hand, candy bar fund raisers are not limited to school groups. Any group or organization that wants to raise some money for a special project can take advantage of this enjoyable activity. Candy fund raisers are a great opportunity and a lot of fun!

If you are considering organizing a chocolate candy fund raiser, you might want to start by going over some helpful suggestions.

It is a good idea to understand what is involved so that you can arrange your time and efforts most effectively.

There is a selection of organizations that you can choose from to host your fund raising enterprise. I’d like to recommend several companies to you that are very well known and have proven to be quite successful over the years. You may decide to choose one of them, or go with another company altogether. One of my favorites is Fast Track Fundraising.

Please notice that most candy bar fundraiser organizations require you to purchase the candy bars up front and do not take returns. There are others that allow you to pay at the end of your campaign.

Be aware of that as you decide which company to choose. It is important to know how much you can invest to start out and also have a pretty good estimate of how much you will be able to sell.

Whatever you decide, I’d like to wish you a very successful candy fundraising experience - and don’t eat all of the profits! :)
