By shopping for your chocolate candy bars on eBay or Amazon, you can often find a great selection of chocolate bars that you may not be able to pick up locally.

Although buying just one candy bar on eBay or Amazon isn't really practical when you take into consideration the shipping fees, it may be worth it if you are looking for a particular type of chocolate bar that you just can't get at your area shops.

What about the expiration date?  Although I admit to eating a lot of out of date chocolate, some people can be funny about that.  :)  If you are giving away your chocolate purchase or want to be sure it is fresh, make sure you consider best by dates.  Good sellers will list this so you know what to expect.

One of my favorite reasons for buying chocolate candy bars on eBay is so that you can create a clever candy bar card for someone you know.  Candy bar cards are really fun to make and they are ALWAYS appreciated by the person receiving them.
