Chocolate Cake Balls

CHOCOLATE CAKE BALLS - A LITTLE SECRET YOU DON'T KNOW!

Did you know that adding a wee bit of vegetable oil to your chocolate will help it not to be so clumpy?

THEY COME OUT SO MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL! TAKE A LOOK & SEE!

Lauren Green

Hi Lauren,

That's a great tip to keep in mind when making chocolate cake balls. Are you referring to the coating like in the recipe for bite sized cake balls?

I believe that recipe calls for a little shortening to be melted with the chocolate for the same purpose, but it's good to know that vegetable oil works well for the purpose, too.

If you have a different recipe in mind, feel free to add it. We can never get enough yummy recipes around here! :-)

Thanks again,
Angie
