Making Chocolate and Sesame Balls


Can melted chocolate stick powdered sesame seeds together? I powdered my sesame seeds with sugar syrup and now I want to know if chocolate will stick them together; as in make ball like form.

I don't see why you couldn't combine your powdered sesame seeds with melted chocolate to make some scrumptious chocolate sesame seed balls.


Another idea is to use the powdered sesame seeds as a coating for some truffles. Make up some chocolate truffles and roll them in the sesame seeds. There are some really easy chocolate truffle recipes here on the site that you can choose from.


The added crunch from the sesame seeds will give a nice textural difference and the flavor of the seeds is quite mild and should complement the truffles nicely.
