Candy Coating

Why is my candy coating not getting soft??

I was warming it in the Microwave and NOW it is not getting any softer or smoother?? Why and what can I do?

Did it start to melt at all? Did you get the mixture too hot, by chance? Or get moisture in it?


You could try adding a little vegetable oil to the candy to help thin and smooth it a bit. See if that helps.
