Can I melt wafers straight from the freezer?

I make a lot of candy and cake balls so I've been stocking up on wafers and storing them in the freezer before I use them.
However, lately, I've noticed it's REALLY thick after melting -- to the point that I would have to add a ton of veg oil to thin it out enough to have a smooth coating.
Is this because I've frozen them? I've never had this problem in the past. Thanks.
Hi Jessica,
That's a good question. I know one thing that really helps is to use
Paramount Crystals from Candyland Crafts. I'm not sure about whether or not freezing the wafers makes a difference, though.
I would ask the folks at Candyland Crafts that question because they are extremely helpful and should be able to give you a more precise answer.
Blessings,
Angie
