Molded Chocolate Hearts I love to buy chocolate candy molds of all different shapes, sizes, and patterns. They are actually quite irresistable to me. I admit that I own a few designs I haven't even used yet, but I'm sure that will be remedied before too long.

You can sometimes buy a chocolate candy mold or two at your local grocery or department store, but I doubt you will find much of a selection. I've even picked up the occasional candy mold at a garage sale. Fortunately, for you and me, there are some terrific resources online these days that have a huge variety.

It amazes me the hundreds of different choices for those of us who do want to buy chocolate candy molds of our own. My husband always says I take forever to make up my mind about things. I suppose that there is a smidgeon of truth to that.

Candyland Crafts has over 2000 different molds available! Also, I must say One Stop Candlehas a nice selection. They even have photos of what the chocolate molds look like after they are made up. :)

I, on the other hand, have
a great time dithering between
petite little teddy bears,
tea cups and saucers,
flowers, leaves, crosses, hearts, the list is endless.

Perhaps I can win him over to my way of thinking if I buy the chocolate candy molds I saw the other day that were adorably shaped like tools. Hmmm... ...now there's an idea.

One of the things I love about buying molds is that they are really inexpensive. You can purchase chocolate candy molds for as little as $1-2.00 each. Now that is a bargain in my book.

There are different brands available on the market. One of the most popular and well respected makers of chocolate candy molds is Wilton. They have a wonderful variety, and will last years if you care for your molds properly.

I must be fair and tell you - - it is very easy to get carried away when you start browsing through all the available choices. Don't say I didn't warn you! :) Have fun...
