Could you please tell me the best way to ship homemade candy?


I would like to ship my homemade fudge to a friend...it will be leaving Florida and going to LA...I would just like to know the best way to ship, and the best packing instructions.

The best way to ship fudge is to leave it whole rather than cut it in squares.


You can pour it into a disposable plastic container or a candy tin.


If the weather isn't too hot, you don't need to worry about putting any cooling elements in the shipping box.


Place the container of fudge in a sturdy box and cushion it with bubble wrap, those little foam bits or, if you're desperate, scrunched up newspaper. ;-)


The quicker the shipping method the better, of course, but you don't really have to ship it overnight.
