I'm looking for Annaclairs in Pennsylvania

Where in Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh area in particular, can I purchase Annaclairs?

They were once an all-time holiday favorite gift among family members, but they seem to have disappeared in our market area.

I don't know where you can get Annaclairs in Pennsylvania, but we'll post your question here so that maybe some other PA residents can give you some suggestions.

Meanwhile, I do know that you can order them online if you are willing to have them posted to you in the mail. :)

They can be difficult to locate even online, but one of our visitors let us know that you can get a nice selection at a place currently called Sweet Shop USA.

I think they may be located in Texas. You may want to check them out and see if that will do until you can actually discover where you can purchase Annaclairs in the Pittsburgh, PA, area.

Soeothy’s Candy in Irwin, PA makenthem. They call theirs Jodi Lees sell for @ $29.00 a lb plus postage. I purchased a one pound box online and had them shipped Express! They arrived the next day, well packed and in a black box too lol.

Now I live in Pittsburgh, probably one hour drive from Dorothy’s, but I decided the extra mail charge was worth it. They have a nice website. Good luck ppl. I got 25 in my box. And now there are 24, soon to be 23!

Prices chocolates from Kansas (the creator of Annaclairs), which were sold in the up scale department stores in the Pgh area, can be ordered online. The shipping fee is what gets you. A box (now 15 oz instead of 16 oz), sells for $34 with a $32+ shipping fee. I ordered a bunch for Christmas gifts to offset the shipping cost.

The best Annaclairs in the Pittsburgh area can be found at Andersen's Candy in Baden. It's located on route 65. Hope this helps.

Find them at Macy's

I'm not sure if you are still looking for Annaclairs but a friend of mine recently purchased Annaclairs at the Macy's Bakery in the Downtown store on 5th avenue. The confections were sold by the piece and macy's boxed them accordingly. I believe they still used the square black box with the silver "Annaclair" writing. My friend shared her purchase with me - just delish!....as I remember them from Gimbels and Hornes back in the 60's and 70's. I hope you are able to purchase some of the candy for yourself - brings back so many memories. Happy Hunting.
