Charmingly Chocolate, Free Card - Today Only!
July 22, 2012
I've got two fun ideas for you today that can help you brighten someone's day and make your own life easier. It's all about taking a few moments to send a thoughtful card - a traditional card, or thank you candy card. Ready? Let's get started...
First of all, I have to tell you that the Card Store is doing it again. They are letting EVERYONE select one of their greeting cards to send to a friend or loved one, completely FREE.
If you're not familiar with the Card Store, they deal in "real" cards - the kind you address, stamp, and pop in the mail.
The great thing is that THEY do the printing, stamping, and mailing for you after you've picked out the card you want and personalized it to your liking.
This free offer ends tonight, so get one now, while you still can.
I just chose an anniversary card and had it sent off to my brother and his wife for their upcoming 20th anniversary. ;) Don't miss out!
You'll need this link and coupon code to take advantage of this deal. Use code: CAJ2719, Valid thru 7/22. Go!
Make A Thank You Candy Card!
You may not always have time to get creative, so a store bought card is a wonderful resource. Just a few moments of thought to choose and send a card can really brighten someone's day, no matter what the occasion.
I think most of us need to get in the habit of sending cards and notes of encouragement a little more often. It really does make the world a better place.
Having said that, some occasions call for a little something special! :)
I love to make candy bar cards because they are always so well received. Plus, they're just plain fun to make. In fact, "here's one I prepared earlier." Ha ha! I just couldn't resist saying that!
I just made this simple thank you candy card this weekend for the girls at my local "Curves" here in Mareeba. Yes, I've spent the last month going to Curves (far too much chocolate lately!), and the staff at my local branch are really fantastic.
They spent a lot of time helping me get the most benefit out of each workout that I attended. I feel much more fit having put in the effort and I wanted to let them know how much I appreciated their support and encouragement.
I know it's a fitness center, but do you think they'll mind getting all that chocolate? :) I seriously doubt it!
I've made homemade candy cards for my hubby, my parents, my pastor, and various friends over the years. It's kind of an inexpensive gift and a card all rolled into one.
The silly candy bar cards always seem to produce smiles - which is why we send them in the first place, isn't it?
Can you think of someone whose day you could brighten with a thank you candy card or card for any other occasion?
If you need help coming up with some witty sayings for your card, check out our candy bar cards page for step-by-step instructions and dozens of ideas that visitors have submitted over the years. You're sure to pick up some gems to get your creative juices flowing.
