Welcome to Chocolate Candy Mall's monthly newsletter,
Charmingly Chocolate. I had to call this issue, Fall Favorites, because Fall has always been my favorite time of year.
The heat of summer is over, the air is getting crisp and cool, the leaves are changing... ...autumn has arrived!
If you have a friend who you think may enjoy "Charmingly Chocolate," do me a favor and forward this issue to them.
If someone DID pass this on to you and you like what you see, please subscribe to future issues by
visiting Charmingly Chocolate and signing up. Thanks!

News, News, News:
Okay, I've rhapsodized long enough already on my feelings about fall. Let's get down to business. :-)
I'm so excited to tell you my news! Now, you can add your own chocolate candy pages directly to the Chocolate Candy Mall site. What do you think of that?
Alright, so maybe you aren't as excited as I am, but I am thrilled. I love getting input and ideas from other chocolate lovers. It has always been a bit of a hassle to incorporate their recipes, ideas, and photos to the site, but not any more.
If you've got a chocolate candy masterpiece that you can share with us, it is now as simple as typing an email to have your own page added to Chocolate Candy Mall. You'll find the form to type in your details at the bottom of the homemade chocolate candy recipes page.
If you don't make your own candy, but are a real chocolate connoisseur, there's a place for you to tell your tale, too. Just go to the chocolate candy sellers page and dish out the details of your best or worst chocolate candy experiences. I look forward to reading your stories.
Ideas For Autumn
What are you doing to celebrate the arrival of autumn? I've got a suggestion for you. You can even incorporate this little idea into your Halloween plans.
Make some molded chocolate candy! It is so
fun and easy to make cleverly shaped chocolates using candy molds. The molds only cost a couple of dollars and can be used year after year.
You can choose from pumpkins or Jack O'Lanterns, to cats, leaves, ghosts, haunted houses, and more. What a fun way to treat the kids over the holiday season.
I have two favorite suppliers for all things to do with chocolate candy making molds. The first is Candyland Crafts, and the second is One Stop Candle. What you can't find at one, you are sure to find at the other. They have over 3000 molds between them! Of course, they also carry the chocolate, lollipop sticks, and cello favor bags, too. You'll find everything you need to make a really special seasonal treat.
Don't Forget Sweetest Day - October 20
Some people don't care for all the extra little holidays that have popped up in recent years. Me? I love them! It seems we get so busy in life, that we often take for granted the people who mean the most to us.
Because of this, I like the occasional reminders that prompt me to do something to show my love and appreciation to friends and family. I don't always go "all out," but I try to do a little something extra to show my gratitude.
I have a couple of recommendations this year for a good gift for your "Sweetie." And yes, they both involve chocolate!
Fannie May Candies
has this adorable Fall Gift Basket out that is full of old favorites - pixies, fudge, chocolate leaves, and mint meltaway hot chocolate.
Anyone would be delighted to receive such an indulgent treat. Well, at least I would! :-)
The second suggestion I wanted to make is that you check out one of my newest chocolate candy associates, World's Finest Chocolates
. They've been around for years, and I've always loved their chocolate bars, but I just recently got reacquainted with their products. They have even more wonderful choices than ever.
Everything from their candy bars to a whole selection of different kinds of chocolate covered nuts. Don't forget the chocolate covered raisins, pretzels, malted milk balls, and even toffee.
One of the things I really love, besides the great taste, is that they let you personalize the label for special occasions. You don't even have to buy more than one to get this added service. What a deal!
Okay, I'm off to find some chocolate. I'm so looking forward to reading your additions to the Chocolate Candy Mall web site. Don't disappoint me. :-)
I hope you enjoyed this issue of Charmingly Chocolate. If you have any feedback or comments you'd like to share with me,
just reply to this zine and let me know. I'd love to hear from you.
