Welcome to Chocolate Candy Mall's monthly newsletter, Charmingly Chocolate. Let me start by saying I'm dashing this newsletter off at a hectic pace as I am in the midst of a big trip to see the family to my extreme joy. Sorry in advance if it is a bit on the skimpy side. I still hope to provide you with some 4th of July chocolate treats that will help to give your party an extra bang.
If you have a friend who you think may enjoy "Charmingly Chocolate," do me a favor and forward this issue to them.

July 1, 2007 - Issue #2
It is a tradition in my family to always celebrate the 4th of July with a big outdoor picnic with family and friends, followed by fireworks, of course.
One of the main attractions, at least for me, is the variety of delicious foods and desserts we all conspire to make for the big day.
This year, I was trying to think of something a bit different than my usual offering, and I decided that I had to come up with a red, white, and blue chocolate candy treat!
A bit of a challenge? Not necessarily. Just picture an array of white and dark chocolate covered strawberries, blueberries, cherries, or raspberries. Mmmmmm! What could be more appropriate?
I think you will agree, that not only will they look festive, but they will be mouthwatering delicious as well.
As I mentioned earlier, I'm dashing off to see the family, so instead of reprinting each of the recipes here in the newsletter, I will just include links to them for you. I hope you won't mind. :)
Summer is the time for fresh juicy fruit, and these recipes are all fairly simple to make.
Wouldn't your friends and family be thrilled to bite into one of these delectable treats? I know mine will!
Celebrate Summer with Enrobed Summer Fruits
If you are unable to put in the time to prepare these yummy chocolate covered fruits, there is a simple solution. Just order them and have them delivered either to your own home, or to someone you love. With each of the recipes you will find suggestions of where to find some of the best available online.
However, if you are looking for something slightly different and definitely over the top, my friends at Hotel Chocolat
have just the thing for you... ...enrobed fruit! It even sounds grand doesn't it? No wonder.
They offer some, simply put, scrumptious fruit smothered in mouthwatering chocolate. And, although their chocolate candy is at the top of the heap as far as quality goes, they have some selections that are very reasonably priced. I hope you will pop on over and take a peek.
Well, as promised, I'm off. So long for now. I hope you have a superb day celebrating the wonderful gift of our country's freedom and independence. I know I will. Family does that to me.
Happy Summer!
